OK, hows a non functioning but with two functioning pouches added sound? and if possible what would something like that cost?

Thundrkiss, the problem is when I get the boxes made I have to get at least 100 boxes at a time. Each box cost almost $7 to have made. So if I did a run I have to have at least 10 people on a run. If I get a run list of 10 I would have a few left over and I could give you a cost then.

Sorry I'll be more specific. What I wanted to know is if the belt itself (not the belt pouche things) are ESB styled and not ROTJ. I wish I had a pic to explain. ROTJ had like 6 brass things and ESB had only 2.

Is there a rule of thumb on how much to add from your real waist size to get to what size your belt should be. I do not have all of my costume yet to measure it myself. Thanks for your help!

Ok guys sorry for the delay, I think I finally got the right brown to stay on Volkerc's belt. Good news is that it may have took me 4 trys but I got 4 sets ready in the process. I'll have more pics up tonight.

volker here's your special Choclate brown ESB belt. Sorry it took awhile to do this but getting the color to stay was kinda hard.

If anyone else wants the dark brown color let me know.

Seeker no I didn't. I used a dk brown oil dye first, after awhile it tends to lighten up too much so I use a dk brown stain to go over it, if it still lightens up I mix a bit of black oil dye with the dk brown and redye.

After looking at many of the hi-res photos, the dark brown seems to be the more accruate color for both ROTJ and ESB. So thats what I will be doing.

Please post a comparison pic beofre you dye my belt, the dark brown you have shown seems a bit on the "dark side" for me

I was thinking something a toch or three lighter..

I'll post pics of the different colors, the lighting in the room made it a bit more dark than it is I think.

Here is a comparison pic of the light brown vs dk brown.

I fixed the lighting to match the actual color

thundrkiss, its not really attached. its just tied to hold around. I actually just ordered a new one since I can't bleach this one. was going to redye it. gotcha on the list.

Finally got the pics I took for TK876's belt out of my camera, here are your pics TK876.

OK, this is just a small annoucement. When you recieve your Ammo belt, you will also recieve a bottle of leather clean / conditioner. This will be for your belt. I recommend only cleaning the front side of the belt, you don't need to do this often, just once every three months or so, or whenever you go trooping.

On another note, for those who have been pming me. I will continue to take more on this run list until the end of the week, I will cut the list off on the 15th. And I will be taking a break on non-functionals until May or June. I might be working on functional if I can get the rest needed to do the run. Other than that I will be working more on the Assassins Creed project. Now that I have more parts in that I needed. So if you need to get on this list please let me know before the 15th. Thanks all.

Just an update, I'm back on track, with some new help. He's been dying to be my apprentice. So I have decieded to train him. The rest of the belts on the non-functional run should be out all in about in a week.

For the functional guys, just got word that boxes are halfway done. So I'll be getting those ready asap. Theres still room on the list. This maybe the last functional run I may ever do.

For the rest that asked about regular belts. Once this run is done I am taking a break for alittle while to finish the Assassins Creed and then work on a few more custom things. So I may not start up again till the summer.

Just wanted to update the list. Charile I made a mistake on the shipping info, my fault. But its going back out tomorrow with your correct address. As well as Ciscotiger's belt, will have tracking #'s tomorrow afternoon.

Does anyone know Bobaguy?? his belt is also been ready but I don't have an addy to send it to. He hasn't been on much.

For the other 3 guys from UK that pm'd me about a belt. Deal will stand if you guys can get payment before the week is up. If not you'll have to wait till the begining of the summer as I already have a list starting. Reason why is because the functional boxes are just about done and once they are in I'm going to get those knocked out.

For the functional guys, thank you for sticking around and committing. I realize that somethings happened for others who dropped out but thats what I was afriad of happening. Since the other 6 people dropped I'll have to use my next weeks check to pay for the rest of the supplies. So this will be my last functional run. I won't be taking anymore on the list at this time. I will put together the last of whats left over at some other time and offer them in cargo hold.

what weight leather u using?

belt starts at 10oz but then skived down to a 6-7, boxes are 3-4 oz, flaps are 4-5oz
