22ssplt SE build up

What's the difference with the BM v3 armor? I should be getting mine very soon and I'm curious what is different from v2. Hopefully it's a little bigger, or in going to have to sell it because it won't fit my frame (6'4" 240lbs).

His armor is on the smaller side, but the right size. more accuracy refinements were done to the v3. His new backplate looks a lot more accurate now.

Dead land. It's the testors rattlecan us medium green. It's close to my house and cheaper, I've had good luck with it.

Thank you for the kind words guys!

It's vac formed ABS vs fiberglass. If it doesn't fit you then you should definitely go with RKD

Ok big update on the armor today. I added all the yellow zinc chromate, brown pastel markings, and the acrylic black flakes on center diamond and right chest piece. I'm all finished EXCEPT the Humbrol green 78 on the ab and upper left chest piece.

I found this funny today. I found old pics of my first painted armor and knees. I'd like to share them with you to show you how much TDH and great people on here have helped me since 5 years ago. Am I a gifted painter, absolutely not but I feel I've gotten better with everyone's help here on this great forum. Enjoy and laugh.

Which method did you use for weathering your soft parts? Airbrush?

I'm making my attempt at weathering this weekend and was curious as yours came out great!

Yes, I used an airbrush and the color "grimy black" polyscale. I used it on all the soft parts to include the flak vest even though the flash on the camera kind of hides it.

Lets be honest here. It looks like my 6 year old was left alone with finger paints, some cheap armor and a bottle of Nyquil. Have you concidered using some neater technique like maybe a paintball gun with pastel colors from 75 yards away? It couldn't be any worse than the junk you produce now. I mean come on! Did you make the gloves yourself too? They are supposed to white and gray and NOT tan! You might want to add collar armor, gauntlets...who am I kidding...just give up this charade and call it a custom trash (can) mando! In order to save anything left of what you may call "pride" I am willing to help you. (Against my better judgement). Box all of this **** up and mail it to 10201 S. Luther Rd Newall OK 74857. Hell NO I am not going to pay shipping! Thats on you! Then promptly return to Policing the lonely state of Indiana. That way something good might come of you yet! Give up this fantasy of talent! Nobody here wants to see this sad replacement for HOPE! You should just be ashamed! SHAME!

Sincerely D

There it is folks! Ivan finally steps away from teaching jazzercise at the local dance studio long enough to add his colorful critique of my work.

Wow Dave! How do you type with all of that Marine Corp knuckle hair getting in the way? I know you call it your "Man Gloves" but come on! When it starts at your shoulders ITS NOT GLOVES! Looking like a **** wookie and typing in single syllable words...Geez.
